
MANHATTAN — Seventeen subway lines are slated for service changes this weekend.
Here is the breakdown:
1 Line: Uptown trains will run express from 96th Street to 145th Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
2 Line: Trains will run local in both directions between 96th Street and 42nd Street from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
3 Line: Service is suspended from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday and 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Riders can take free shuttle buses between 148th Street and 135th Street where you can transfer to a 2 train.
Trains will also be suspended in both directions between Franklin Avenue and New Lots Avenue from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Riders can take the 4 train between Franklin Avenue and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue. Shuttle buses will run between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue.
Trains will run local between 96th Street and 42nd Street from 6 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
4 Line: Bronx-bound trains will run local from Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall to Grand Central-42nd Street from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
5 Line: Trains will run every 20 minutes between Eastchester-Dyre Avenue and Bowling Green from 5:45 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and from 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
6 Line: Bronx-bound trains will run express form Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.
Trains are also skipping Middletown Road and Castle Hill avenue in both directions at all times through May.
7 Line: Trains are suspended between Times Square-42nd Stret and Queensboro Plaza from 2 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday. Riders can use the E, F, N or Q trains for service between Manhattan and Queens. Free shuttle buses will make all subway stops between Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue and Queensboro Plaza. The 42nd Street shuttle will also run overnight.
A Line: Downtown trains will run express from 59th Street to Canal Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
C Line: Downtown trains will run express from 59th Street to Canal Street from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
E Line: Trains will run local in both directions between Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue and Forest Hills-71st Avenue from 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
D Line: Bronx-bound trains will run express from Bay Parkway to 9th Avenue from 6:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Trains will also run local in both directions between 34th Street-Herald Square and West 4th Street from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
F Line: Queens-bound trains run express from Church Avenue to Smith-9th Streets from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Coney-Island bound trains will be rerouted over the A line from West 4th Street to Jay Street-Metro Tech from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Trains will also run local between Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue and Forest Hills-71st Avenue from 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
G Line: Queens-bound trains will run express from Church Avenue to Smith-9th Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
N Line: Late night trains will be rerouted over the Manhattan Bridge.
Q Line: Trains will be suspended between Coney Island and Prospect Park in both directions from 10:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Riders can take free shuttle buses.
Queens-bound trains will be extended to Ditmars Boulevard to replace the partially-suspended 7 service from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Coney Island-bound trains will skip Parkside Avenue, Beverly Road and Courtelyou Road at all times through early summer.
R Line: Trains will be suspended between 59th Street and 36th Street in Brooklyn in both directions from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday and 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday.
There is no service between Court Street in Brooklyn and Whitehall Street in Manhattan through October for repairs to the Montague Tube.
42nd Street Shuttle: Trains will run overnight form 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday.
