BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — The plan blew up in his face.

A man who tried to rob a check-cashing store in Bed-Stuy last week by saying he had a bomb was foiled when the teller refused to hand over the money, police said.

The man entered Pay-O-Matic at 1294 Fulton St. shortly after midnight on Feb. 19, according to police.

The man approached the teller window and slipped a note to a worker that claimed he had a bomb and wanted money, police said.

When the teller refused to fork over the cash, the man fled, according to police.

The NYPD released a photo of the suspect, who they described as 5 foot 8 in his early 20s with a medium build. He's seen in the video wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.
