NYPD Looking for Thief Who Used Phony Debit Card at Target

COLLEGE POINT — Police are on the lookout for a man connected with a fraudulent purchase that took place at a Target store in Queens in early February.

Police have released an image of the suspect who they said made a purchase of more than $180 with a duplicated Ponce de Leon debit card just after 5 p.m. on February 4.

Police traced the debit card's number to the real owner, an 81-year-old man living in Throgs Neck, in the Bronx.

Additional information on the suspect is as yet unknown.
