NOHO — The newest branch of healthy-eats chain Organic Avenue opened at 62 Bleecker St. last Friday.

In addition to the $12 kale salads and $7 probiotic yogurts sold at other Organic Avenue locations, the Bleecker Street spot will also offer hot vegan soups and hot oatmeal topped with an assortment of "superfoods." It is the first Organic Avenue with its own in-house smoothie bar.

The store's goal is to expand its breakfast and lunch dishes beyond what other branches have served, with some options that will appeal to less zealously healthy eaters, including non-vegans.

The location is the 10th Organic Avenue in the New York area. Two more new stores are expected to open this spring at 5 Bryant Park and 254 Park Ave. South.
