NEW YORK CITY — This winter’s white wonderland is rubbing off on street style.

At New York Fashion Week, many show-goers were spotted wearing winter brights such as cream, white and pastel. They were also on trend with the Fall 2014 runways, where designers such as Victoria Beckham and Melitta Baumeister presented all-white ensembles and Phillip Lim used a mix of pastels.

“I like to wear something cheery in the dead of winter to lift my spirits, especially when it's so cold out,” said blogger Elizabeth Minett, 27, from Hautappetit.com.

She said she had already embraced the incoming trend of all white and graphic prints.

Albert Lincoln, 26, a model from Los Angeles attending the KaufmanFranco show on Tuesday, chose cream pants to brighten up his outfit.

“I’m a big fan of the chic-ness of all black, but it gets a little overwhelming and it's nice to pull out something refreshing like cream pants,” he said.

“This is the best time to wear color,” said Upper East Side blogger Ellie Eckert, 22, from CityBrewed.com.

She wore a striking white, gray and black outfit with bold prints from designer Lie Sang Bong.

A men’s underwear designer for Puma, Heather King, went with a mint pastel skirt for Wednesday at Fashion Week.

“I think the best way to bring a pop of color to your outfit in the winter is lipstick and going with a fun skirt,” she said.
