BROOKLYN — An "extremely short" man groped a woman inside a Bed-Stuy subway station last month, the NYPD said.

The 36-year-old woman, whose identity was not released, was inside the Broadway Junction J train station about 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 6, when the suspect grabbed her from behind, police said.

He fled afterwards and the woman was not injured, the NYPD said.

Investigators released a surveillance photo of the suspect, who was wearing an "I [heart] New York" hoodie with a white baseball cap, police said.

They described the suspect as "extremely short in stature."

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
