QUEENS — Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found with a head injury on a Jamaica subway platform on Sunday evening.
The woman, who has not been identified, was found at 10:50 p.m. on the F train's 179th Street station platform, police said.
The Medical Examiner’s office said that the woman's death was caused by blunt impact injuries of the head, torso and extremities, consistent with being struck by a train.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
