Thief Pushed Woman to Ground and Stole Phone in Hudson Heights, Police Say

HUDSON HEIGHTS — Police are seeking a man who pushed a woman to the ground and stole her cellphone, the NYPD said.

The 19-year-old woman was approached by a man near Bennett Avenue and West 181st Street about 1 a.m. on Dec. 19, police said.

The man shoved the victim to the asphalt, then grabbed her cellphone and earphones and fled, the NYPD said. 

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue puffy coat, police said.

The woman was uninjured, according to police.
