
CHELSEA — Two people were hospitalized after a bloody brawl between two groups of teenagers broke out in front of a 7-11 on 14th Street Monday afternoon, witnesses and officials said.
The fight broke out on the north side of 14th Street just west of Sixth Avenue a little before 4 p.m., according to witnesses and the Fire Department. Two of the brawlers taken to Beth Israel Hospital suffered non-life threatening injuries, a fire department spokesman said.
Another young man involved in the fight, Jason Hernandez, 18, was stabbed in the head with a key, he told DNAinfo New York.
The alleged fighters were given desk appearance tickets and released, a Port Authority spokesman said.
