UPPER EAST SIDE — Philip Seymour Hoffman was remembered Friday at a service packed with loved ones and Hollywood glitterati left stunned by his death.
Amy Adams, Ethan Hawke, Michelle Williams and Cate Blanchett were among the stars who joined Hoffman's grieving former girlfriend Mimi O'Donnell and his children at the Upper East Side's Church of St. Ignatius Loyola.
Hoffman, 46, died Sunday in his West Village apartment of what investigators believe was a heroin overdose.
The "Capote" star, who had openly struggled with addiction, was found with a hypodermic needle in his arm and bags of heroin nearby, police sources said.
