LONG ISLAND CITY — Outdoor market LIC Flea & Food will return to the Queens waterfront in April, and it's bringing some new vendors along for its second season — including Astoria street food favorite King of Falafel and Shawarma.

Fares "Freddy" Zeideia, who started his Middle Eastern food cart at Broadway and 30th Street more than a decade ago, will be serving his Vendy Award-winning eats at the Hunters Point flea market every weekend this spring and summer.

"We're thrilled to have him," said Elizabeth Aloni, director of vendor relations for the LIC Flea.

The flea market was launched last spring at 5th Street and 46th Avenue by Schneps Communications, the publishing company that turns out the Queens Courier.

Aloni said the upcoming season will include many vendors from last year — like meatball purveyors Bill's Balls and clothing line 1926 — plus new faces, including Kimchi Smoke, a Korean barbecue vendor, and No Fork, which sells fork-free desserts like cake pops.

LIC Flea & Food will return April 5 and run every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
