LONG ISLAND CITY — Queens pub The Shannon Pot reopened this week at a new location after closing its original space near the former 5Pointz complex earlier this month.
The bar reopened Tuesday at 21-59 44th Dr., as The Court Square Blog first reported.
The new location is just blocks from the the previous one at Davis Street and Jackson Avenue, where the bar had operated for more than a decade and was a popular stop-off point for 5Pointz and MoMA PS1 visitors.
The original location — on the same block as the warehouses where graffiti collective 5Pointz previously painted — is slated to be demolished in the coming months to make way for two high-rise apartment buildings.
