Suspect Withdraws $800 From ATM Using Lost Debit Card, Police Say

EAST VILLAGE — Police were looking for a man who withdrew $800 from an East Village bank ATM using a lost debit card, the NYPD said.

The victim realized on Dec. 23 that he had misplaced his debit card, and when he checked his account, discovered that the cash had been taken out via an ATM at Chase Bank at 156 Second Ave. near East 10th Street, police said.

Police released a photo of the suspect Tuesday evening.
