MANHATTAN — A woman was sprayed in the face, punched and robbed by three other women as she stepped off a subway at Columbus Circle early Thursday, a police spokesman said.

The 34-year-old woman, whose identity was not immediately released, boarded an F train in Astoria, transferred to a northbound D and was exiting the train at Columbus Circle about 1:30 a.m. when the three women attacked her, according to the NYPD.

A police spokesman said he didn't know what substance was used as the spray. The attackers ran off with her bag, he said.

The victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital and treated for injuries to her face, according to police and the FDNY.

Police are investigating the attack and have made no arrests.
