QUEENS — An off-duty police officer was caught stealing clothes at a Rego Park store Monday, authorities said.
Jessica Mayorga, 30, assigned to a precinct in The Bronx, was arrested about 5:30 p.m., after police say she was caught stealing clothing items at Century 21 at the Rego Center Mall.
Mayorga, who has been a police officer for about 10 years, was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
