SUNNYSIDE — A neighborhood CSA in Queens is partnering with a local brewery to offer a beer share featuring locally made suds, according to an announcement on the group's website

The Sunnyside CSA is working with Long Island City beer makers Big Alice Brewing to offer a winter beer share option.

Each share costs $65 for one 750-ml bottle of brew, and includes four pickups  from January to March, with shares dropped off at Sunnyside Community Services at 43-31 39th St.

That works out to $16.25 a bottle, less than the $18 they normally retail for at the brewery.

The types of beer will vary with each pickup, according to the announcement. Big Alice, which runs a brewery and taproom at 43rd Road and Vernon Boulevard, is known for its inventive beer flavors.

Beers scheduled during the period of the winter share include flavors like Gunpowder Tea Rye Ale and Ginger Oatmeal Raisin Stout, according to the Sunnyside CSA.

The deadline to sign up for the winter beer share is Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Those who don't want to sign up through the CSA can also order beer shares from Big Alice directly, according to co-owner Robby Crafton.

The brewery's winter share runs from January through June, and costs $100 for one bottle of beer a month, a total of six bottles over the course of the season.

Those interested can sign up at the brewery in person during taproom hours on Fridays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. or by sending an email through their website.
