
MANHATTAN — A man held up a midtown Pret A Manger at gunpoint last Wednesday, police said.
The suspect, who was wearing a hoodie and had a scarf wrapped around his face, threatened a worker with a handgun at the eatery on Park Avenue between 32nd and 33rd streets at about 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, according to the NYPD.
He then allegedly made the employee take him to an upstairs office where he stole an unknown amount of money, police said.
The worker was not injured.
The alleged robber is described by authorities as a man his 20s, about five feet, nine inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded jacket and black scarf around his face.
