FLUSHING — A man sexually attacked and burned a 31-year-old woman inside a car a block away from Kissena Park on Wednesday, police said.

Wu Lin, 35, was inside a vehicle with the woman parked on Booth Memorial Avenue near 134th Street around 10 p.m. Wednesday when he turned violent, burning the woman’s hair and clothing and then sexually assaulting her, police said.

The victim, who police said knew Lin prior to the attack, then fled the vehicle.

Police released a photo of Lin, who they described as about 5-foot-7 inches and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, but they did not know if he had a prior arrest record.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477).
