QUEENS — A driver was killed early Saturday in Howard Beach after another man who was allegedly driving after drinking smashed into the victim on Saturday morning, according to police.

Police responding to a 911 call at 1 a.m. found a 2006 Ford that had smashed in to a 2001 Saturn at 98th Street and 159th Avenue, police said.

The Saturn's driver, Jimmy Sinisi, 38, of Ridgewood, suffered severe trauma and was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he died.

The other car's driver, James Celauro, 23, of Ozone Park, was also taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Blood tests allegedly showed evidence of driving while intoxicated.

Celauro was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while under the influence of alcohol, police said.
