MASPETH — A cyclist was struck and killed by a commercial truck Wednesday night, police said.
Pedro Lopez, 54, was riding across Borden Avenue on Wednesday when he was hit by the white truck making a right from Maurice Avenue near the Long Island Expressway about 5 p.m., police said.
The driver then left the scene, police said.
Lopez was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, and police said they are still looking for the driver.
