THE BRONX — One person was seriously injured after a school bus crash Tuesday morning in Claremont Village, the FDNY said.

The crash happened about 8 a.m. near East 173rd Street and Vyse Avenue.

One person was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, the FDNY said. Rescue workers also treated 18 people at the scene for minor injuries, the FDNY said.

The bus does not belong to the Department of Education, a DOE spokeswoman said.
