QUEENS — A man was seriously injured after falling about 15 feet from a ladder into a hole at a Long Island City construction site, an FDNY spokesman said.
The man, whose identity was not immediately released, fell about 9:32 a.m. inside the site near Northern Boulevard and 40th Road, the spokesman said.
He was unconscious when medical crews reached him and rescued him, according to the FDNY.
He was removed to an area hospital, a spokesman said.
