ASTORIA — Police are looking for a suspect they say swiped cash and jewelry from a church in Queens earlier this week.

According to the NYPD, the man entered Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 30-11 30 Drive in Astoria just after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, where he stole jewelry and cash before fleeing.

The suspect, wanted for grand larceny, was captured on surveillance footage.
