QUEENS — Two Floridians making their way to a connecting flight at JFK Airport Monday stole $2,103 from a woman's handbag, Port Authority officials said.

Alexisandria Collazo, 29, and Shael Torres, 31, had just returned from a vacation in South Africa and were awaiting a connecting flight back to Florida when they snatched a woman's bag on an AirTrain platform at Terminal 4, a PAPD spokesman said.

The woman, on vacation in the city from Colombia, reported the theft to authorities, who reviewed security footage and tracked the duo to Terminal 5, where they were taken  into custody, the spokesman said.

Collazo and Torres, both from Orlando, Fla., faced charges of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, the PAPD said.
