BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Friends and family of a woman caught in the crossfire of a deadly Bed-Stuy shooting have set up an online tribute to mourn the slain 24-year-old's loss — and to help find her alleged killer.

Nicoleia Taylor, a single mom and nurse, was taking a break from work and visiting family at the Lafayette Gardens Houses on Oct. 1, when, police said, she was struck in the chest by a stray bullet.

Taylor was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

On Facebook, friends and family said their farewells via photos and messages of rememberence.

"This is the only [picture] I have of me and my sis we may not be blood related but she didn't look at it like that and neither did I," said Carol Baldwin. "[W]e will meet again."

"I pray for your justice every night and I pray for them fam to have strength and stick together," said Nefertiti Edwards, adding, "justice will prevail!"

Moderators of the page also posted a photo of 21-year-old Corey Brown, who police said was a suspect in the shooting. Brown allegedly fled the scene after the shooting.

Police did not have an update on the case.

Police are asking anyone with any information on the incident to contact CrimeStoppers by calling 1-800-577-8477.
