MIDTOWN — Holiday cheer returns to Bryant Park on Friday.
The park's annual Winter Village — replete with Manhattan's only free-admission ice skating rink, plus more than 100 shops, food vendors, and a rink-side restaurant and bar — will be open until March 2.
The rink, a 17,000-square-foot oval, attracts hundreds of visitors each day, and those looking to escape the crowds are encouraged to visit early in the morning or during a weekday afternoon. Ice skates cost $15 to rent, and helmets $6.
For rink, shops and restaurant hours, visit the Bryant Park website. The rink and Winter Village, previously branded Citi Pond, is now sponsored by Bank of America.
