KIPS BAY — It's Hooters with a Long Island accent.

Bottomz Up, a Long Island sports bar with a Hooters-like atmosphere, is opening its first New York City location next week at 344 Third Ave., offering a variety of specialty burgers, cocktails and beer — all served up by the bar's scantily clad female staff.

“We’re trying to raise the concept of a sports bar,” said Matthew Hardoon, a spokesman for the bar. “The owners are diehard New York sports fans and they were inspired by how each region is dedicated to their sports teams and the food.”

In addition to a glowing bar, ladies’ nights promotions and a mass of flat-screen TVs, Bottomz Up's outpost in Carle Place, Long Island, features waitresses dressed in low-cut tank tops and short shorts, according to a “Girls Gallery” posted on the bar’s website.

"The goal when you come here is high end, with some of the most beautiful girls in the world taking your order," the bar wrote on its Facebook page. "You can be sure that each experience will be unique and memorable for the palate as well as for the eyes."

The new location will be similar and will feature 45 flat-screen TVs, 24-foot-high ceilings, a 60-foot-long bar with about 30 seats and an additional 70 seats at tables around the bar, Hardoon said.

It will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, and will serve lunch and dinner and will offer happy hours, he said.

The 3,400-square-foot space, which is expected to open Nov. 7, is owned by 344 Restaurant Group, and Long Island resident Jeffrey Hardoon, Matthew Hardoon's father, is a co-owner.

One difference between the Long Island location and the new Kips Bay spot will be the upscale menu — which will feature specialty cocktails, a raw bar, sushi and burgers, including the Minnesota Juicy Loosey slider and the Phoenix burger, which is made with pepper jack cheese, green chili and a runny fried egg.

"Bottomz Up’s menu concept, sports offerings and tech flourishes are like nothing [Kips Bay] has ever seen," Matthew Hardoon said, "and will be a boon to local post-grads, past alumni and professionals."
