QUEENS — A man was struck and killed while crossing a busy South Jamaica Street Monday evening, police said.
The unidentified victim was crossing Jamaica Avenue, near 180th Street, midblock when a 2008 Honda CRV plowed into him around 7:50 p.m., the NYPD said.
He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, but couldn’t be saved.
The Honda’s driver remained on scene.
