MIDTOWN — A man was hit by a northbound C train as it pulled into Penn Station Wednesday morning, according to witnesses and the MTA.
The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was struck by the uptown train in the station, near Eighth Avenue and 34th Street, about 11:10 a.m., MTA and FDNY officials said.
He appeared conscious as crews removed him from the track, witnesses said.
He was rushed him to Bellevue Hospital in an unknown condition, the fire department said.
Trains along the A, C and E lines were temporarily disrupted, but they resumed normal service about 12:25 p.m., an MTA spokeswoman said.
