MIDTOWN — The Rick's Cabaret empire is expanding in Midtown.
The nationwide purveyors of flesh are preparing to open their latest "upscale" venture at 61 W. 37th St. by the end of Novemeber, its marketing manager revealed.
Called Vivid Cabaret/New York, the strip club will boast three floors and a roof deck, spanning about 7,000 square feet — less than the 11,000 square-foot Rick's Cabaret flagship four blocks south, marketing manager David Rios said.
"There will be a main cabaret floor, and other floors with smaller entertainment areas and VIP champagne rooms, and the vibe in the club will be fun and club-like," corporate communications director Allan Priaulx said, adding that a restaurant there will serve "lighter fare."
The club, which licensed the Vivid name from adult-entertainment company Vivid Entertainment, will be the second Vivid nightclub, the first having opened last month in Los Angeles.
"Some [Vivide Entertainment] performers will come in from time to time to make special appearances," Priaulx said. "They plan to make a very active role in the promotion of club."
Rick's also owns more than 40 clubs across the country, according to the company's website.
