KEW GARDENS — A local photographer will have her images of the borough, taken over the course of a decade, displayed in an exhibit at Queens Borough Hall through next week.

Michelle Cheikin's "Queens Surface" exhibit, featuring a display of landscape photos taken of the borough since 2004, was "guided by the light of dusk and dawn," she said.

Over the years, the Woodside artist has captured the streets and buildings in Queens and said she's found that what was once the "layout of the borough" is gone.

Cheiken has also captured photos of the various neighborhoods she has lived in, including Astoria and Greenpoint.

The "Queens Surface" exhibit will be on display at Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Blvd., through Oct. 31.
