Fire Breaks Out in Lindenwood Apartment, FDNY Says

QUEENS — One person was injured when a fire erupted inside a Lindenwood apartment complex, scorching its second floor and attic, the FDNY said.

The blaze broke out about 8:20 a.m. inside 151-27 79th St., near 151st Avenue, the FDNY said.

One person was injured, but the person's condition was not immediately clear, FDNY officials said.

About 106 firefighters brought the fire under control about 9 a.m., officials said.
