WILLIAMSBURG — Parents looking to spice up their toddlers' early education will find a massive new playspace, complete with a gym and expert gymnastics teachers, at a new waterfront center in Williamsburg.

The New York Kids Club's new preschool, opening in January at Northside Piers by the East River, will feature a 30-foot trampoline, balance beams and rings, with gymnastics teachers on hand to help fine-tune young kids' motor skills.

"We were looking for a long time [in Williamsburg] for the perfect location," said Pam Wolf, founder of New York Kids Club, which is opening its 10th location in the city in Williamsburg. "We have 6,000 square feet with five classrooms, a gym and a great outdoor space."

"We believe in a structured gym class," Wolf added, "Kids learn better when they have the opportunity to exercise."

The school will also boast a "culinary institute" with professional chefs coaching little ones to taste novel flavors and to master "table etiquette" and kitchen safety, Wolf said.

Karate, music and art will also be part of the program, she said.

In addition to its preschool for 2-to-4-year-olds, the school will also offer enrichment classes for 8-week-olds up to 12-year-olds. Prices vary by program, but for a 3-year-old to attend preschool five days a week for three hours each day, the cost is $15,095 per school year. The cost for the three-day-a-week preschool program for 3-year-olds is $9,100 per year.
