FLUSHING — A 3-year-old girl was fatally struck by an SUV while crossing the street with her grandmother in Flushing on Sunday, police said.
Allison Liao, of Hillcrest, was crossing Main Street at Cherry Street when a Nissan SUV that was turning left hit her just after 5:30 p.m., police said.
The young girl was rushed to New York Hospital Queens, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Police said the driver remained at the scene.
