Man Shot and Killed on Harlem Street, Cops Say

MANHATTAN — A man was shot several times and died on a Harlem street corner Thursday night, cops said.

Donnell Shearer, 26, collapsed opposite 316 W. 142nd St., near St. Nicholas Avenue, about 8:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Shearer, who police said had been arrested more than 10 times previously, may have been involved in a robbery earlier Thursday that led to the shooting, cops said.

Nobody had been arrested as of Friday morning, police said.
