BROOKLYN — A man with an extensive criminal history has been arrested in a brazen daylight murder in Sunset Park, cops said.
Juan Ramos, 64, was arrested Monday, a day after allegedly stabbing 22-year-old with Giovanni Rodriguez in the stomach near 57th Street and Fourth Avenue about 3:15, the NYPD said. Police said the pair had been arguing before the stabbing.
Rodriguez was rushed to Lutheran Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Ramos was expected to be charged with murder and criminal posession of a weapon, cops said.
Ramos has been in and out of police custody since 1986 on weapons, assault, and drugs charges, police said.
Rodriguez grew up in the neighborhood and had two children who live in Puerto Rico, friends said.
