Man's Body Pulled From East River in Queens, Cops Say

HUNTERS POINT — The fully-clothed body of a man was discovered in the East River near Long Island City Monday night, police said.

Cops said they responded to a 911 call at 11:45 p.m. and found a body in the water near 44th Drive in Hunters Point.

The victim is described as a 30-year-old male, found fully-clothed and with no visible signs of trauma, according to the NYPD. His identity is being withheld pending family notification, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and the medical examiner will determine the cause of death, cops said.
