BROOKLYN — A mother-of-two was shot and killed inside her Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment Wednesday evening while her daughters went out for fried chicken, cops said.

Sellis Gonzales, 44, was shot in her head and torso inside her Chauncey Street home, near Rockaway Avenue, about 8:40 p.m. after her boyfriend gave them money and sent them out to pick up dinner, the NYPD said.

"They go and when they come back the door is ajar and the woman is on the floor," Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

She was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where she was pronounced dead, cops said.

Police were still looking for the boyfriend.
