MIDTOWN — The kites are coming.

This Sunday, the roof deck of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown will once again transform into an open space for kite flying — free of power lines, scaffolding, trees and other obstructions.

Guests can bring their kites or make their own at the event, which also includes other crafts, free food and music.

The event, now in its ninth year and sponsored by the Fashion Center BID, is scheduled to run from 1 to 4 p.m. atop the seventh floor of the terminal's southeast section, at Eighth Avenue at 40th Street.

For more information, visit the Fashion Center website.
