NEW YORK CITY — Huddle up!

The NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee is bringing Super Bowl celebrations to the Big Apple this fall with a mobile tour featuring agility training, field-goal kicking, a mock-broadcast booth and more across the boroughs.

The "Join the Huddle" event is the first-ever mobile tour associated with the Super Bowl. The "Huddle Shuttle" will make 48 stops, starting at a high school football game in Wayne, N.J., on Sept. 20, and ending in Times Square, where it will become part of "Super Bowl Boulevard" Jan. 29 to Feb. 1.

Events include:

► "Agility Training," a virtual-reality game allowing participants to simulate a kick return, awarding points for jumping and juking past opponents on the way to scoring a touchdown.

► "Touchdown Dance," a 10-second chance for revelers to perform their best touchdown celebration for video, which can then be uploaded online.

► "Practice Field," an outdoor field replete with mini-hurdles and tackling dummies, offering Super Bowl wannabes the chance to test their speed and agility.

► "You Make the Call," where armchair refs can watch NFL replays on screen, then try to make the correct call using proper referee signals.

► "Field-Goal Kick," a chance to boot the ball over a mini field goal post.

The host committee is also giving one school each in New York and New Jersey the chance to win a visit from the shuttle in January 2014. To enter, schools must submit two-minute videos, which will be judged based on their creativity, "how the school is helping spread the Super Bowl spirit in its community" and its philanthropic outreach. Winners will be determined by public vote and committee review panel.

The shuttle will make the following stops in New York City:

The Bronx
Oct. 5: Fordham University vs. Lehigh University football game
Oct. 6: New York City Mayor's Cup Cross-Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park

Staten Island
Oct. 13: Staten Island Half-Marathon
Nov. 2: Wagner College vs. Central Connecticut football game

Queens
Nov. 10: St. John's University
