MIDTOWN — Eight photographers from across the globe will share their perspectives at the Museum of Modern Art's annual "New Photography" exhibition, debuting Saturday and running through Jan. 6.
Adam Broomberg of South Africa, Oliver Chanarin and Josephine Pryde of Britain, Anna Ostoya of Poland, Annette Kelm of Germany, and Americans Brendan Fowler, Lisa Oppenheim and Eileen Quinlan will display works that range from abstract arrangements to "carefully composed" shots, "not unlike advertisements," according to MOMA.
The exhibition focuses "on the idea that there has never been just one type of photography," the museum said in a statement.
