WOODHAVEN — A school bus and an SUV collided on the first day back to school, leaving 6 injured, fire officials said.
The accident happened at 10:06 a.m. near P.S. 60, on 89th Avenue and 91st Street in Woodhaven, fire officials said. Six people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for the Education Department said the bus was not affiliated with the DOE. A person who answered the phone at the school said the bus was not affiliated with P.S. 60.
