LONG ISLAND CITY — A Florida man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Jeep in Long Island City on Wednesday afternoon, the NYPD said.
Cops said that Eugene O'Donnell, 53, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. was riding his motorcycle south on 39th Street when he collided with a Jeep Liberty traveling northbound near Queens Boulevard at around 3 p.m.
O'Donnell was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was declared dead, officials said.
Police issued a failure to yield summons to the driver of the Jeep, but said no criminality was suspected in the crash.
