NEW YORK CITY — The bad news: summer is unofficially over. The good news: there are less weekend subway service changes than during the dog days.

The G train will continue its truncated route while post-Sandy repairs are made, stopping at Nassau Avenue in Greenpoint. A large stretch of the L train will also shut down in Brooklyn, according to the MTA.

Here is your breakdown per line:

1 Line: There will be no service in either direction between 137th and 242nd streets from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Free shuttle buses will run in three sections:
• Between 137th and 168th streets
• Between 168th and 191st streets, or take the M3
• Between 207th and 242nd streets

5 Line: Dyre Avenue-bound trains will run express from East 180th Street to Dyre Avenue from 5:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 7:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Trains will also run every 20 minutes between Dyre Avenue and Bowling Green from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

6 Line: Pelham Bay Park-bound trains will run express from Hunts Point Avenue to Parkchester from 5:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

A Line: Lefferts Boulevard-bound trains will skip 104th and 111th streets from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday.

C Line: Downtown trains will run express from 59th Street to Canal Street from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

F Line: Jamaica-bound trains will be rerouted over the M line from 47th-50th Streets to Queens Plaza from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains will run express from Queens Plaza to Roosevelt Avenue.

Coney Island-Bound trains will be rerouted over the A line from West 4th Street to Jay Street-MetroTech from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

G Line: There will be no service between Court Square and Nassau Avenue in both directions from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Free shuttle buses will operate along two routes:
• Along Manhattan Avenue between Nassau Avenue and Court Square
• Along McGuinness Boulevard between Lorimer Street and Court Square

L Line: There will be no service between Lorimer Street and Mytrle-Wyckoff Avenues from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains will operate in two sections:
• Between 8th Avenue and Lorimer Street
• Between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Rockaway Parkway

Free Shuttle bus service will run between Lorimer and Myrtle-Wyckoff.

N Line: Coney-Island-bound trains will be rerouted over the D line from 36th Street to Stillwell Avenue from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains will stop at New Utrecth Avenue-62nd Street. Riders can take the R for service to 45th, 53rd and 59th streets.

Q Line: Manhattan-bound trains will run express from Sheepshead Bay to Newkirk Plaza from 10:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

R Line: Ongoing Sandy recovery work will shut down service between Court Street in Brooklyn and Whitehall Street in Manhattan. Weekend R trains will be rerouted over the Manhattan Bridge. There will be no R or N trains in either direction at Jay Street-MetroTech, Court Street, Whitehall Street, Rector Street, Cortland Street and City Hall.
