CHELSEA — Chelsea Market is about to get a little bit sweeter.

Liddabit Sweets, the Brooklyn-based company that makes handcrafted, small-batch confections, will launch a retail location in the Chelsea food mecca next week.

The sweet spot, which opens on Sunday, will occupy 270 square feet on the market's concourse level. It will be Liddabit's first Manhattan location.

“Expanding into Manhattan’s food community is a huge step for us and there is no better place we could have imagined opening our first retail location,” said Liz Gutman, the company's co-founder, in a statement.

“We are thrilled to join Chelsea Market and the roster of vendors that share our passion for local, artisanal foods.”

The candy company's arrival comes weeks after the market lost its signature sweet shop, Jacques Torres Chocolate.

Liddabit, which offers candy bars, caramels, lollipops, caramel corn and more, is the seventh new food vendor to open at the market in five months.

Other newcomers include Hybird, a fried chicken joint, Los Tacos No. 1 and Num Pang sandwich shop.
