QUEENS — It's flamenco a la carte.

A Forest Hills restaurant will host a series of evenings that will combine a Spanish-themed dinner with live dance shows.

The Long Island City-based American Bolero Dance Company will perform on four Thursday evenings, beginning Aug. 22, at My Kitchen on Metropolitan Avenue, the owners said.

“It will be a professional show, even though we don't have a stage,” said Dhanny Palma, one of the restaurant's owners. "People will really enjoy it."

Gabriela Granados, a dancer, will perform along with Carlos Revollar, a guitarist, and Aurora Reyes, a singer.

During the performances, the restaurant will be serving a prix fixe three-course dinner, which will include Spanish tapas, such as chorizo with cheese and shrimp al ajillo, salad and seafood paella ($45 per person).

Patrons will also be able to wash down their meal with sangria.

Palma, who has organized a number of events at the restaurant, including '50s and '60s dance parties, said she hopes that flamenco will also find an audience in Forest Hills.

Customers may be asked to join a group dance at the end of the performance, Palma said.

Flamenco events will be held every Thursday, starting Aug. 22 until Sept. 12. Dinner seating begins at 6:30 p.m. Each show will last approximately one hour. My Kitchen is located at 106-17 Metropolitan Ave. To make a reservation, call (718) 544-5644.
