NEW YORK CITY — A Westerleigh man was arrested about midnight Saturday and charged with the murder of a missing pregnant woman whose body was found in Willowbrook Park, cops said.

Pedro Martin, 27, of Forest Ave., was charged with second-degree murder for the death of Megan Marotte, who was reported missing on Aug. 7, cops said.

Police said that there was no relationship between the victim and the suspect.

A man who answer the phone at her home declined to comment on the arrest.

Marotte, 20, was last seen near Port Richmond and Forest avenues wearing a light blue tank top and a grey hooded sweatshirts, police said.

Her body was discovered Thursday by two women walking their dogs through the park, witnesses told the Staten Island Advance.

Martin will likely be arraigned Monday, a spokesman for the Staten Island District Attorney said.
