LIVINGSTON — Take a break from the summer heat and cool down your kids at Snug Harbor’s annual free Sprinklerfest this weekend.
The third annual festival will open dozens of sprinklers for kids to run through at the four-acre South Meadow in Snug Harbor Cultural Center on Friday.
The event will have a dunk tank to sink Snug Harbor staff and a workshop from artist Laura Murray, part of Snug Harbor Artist Residency Program, on how to make bug creatures from pipe cleaners.
For the first time, the Sprinklerfest will add live music with local teen cover band Radio Active to perform at 2 p.m.
Originally scheduled for last week but moved because of rain, the Sprinklerfest will be held this Friday starting at 1 p.m. The free event will end at 5 p.m., for more information visit Snug Harbor’s website.
