
NEW YORK CITY — A car fire temporarily blocked traffic on the outer roadway of the Williamsburg Bridge heading toward Manhattan Monday afternoon, fire officials said.
The car burst into flame just after 1:45 p.m., according to the FDNY.
Firefighters from Truck 101 put out the fire about 2:14 p.m. and the roadway was cleared by 3 p.m, an FDNY spokesman said.
There were no injuries.
