Cops Seeking Suspect in Fatal Bed-Stuy Shooting

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are looking for a suspect who shot and killed a man in a Bed-Stuy apartment building earlier this month, the NYPD said.

Officials found Rashawn Jackson, 29, in the foyer of 478 Jefferson Ave. just steps from his home with multiple gunshot wounds about 9 p.m. on July 5. He was taken to Kings County Hospital and declared dead, cops said.

Cops are looking for an unidentified male who was captured on security cameras fleeing the scene eastbound on Jefferson Avenue with a gun in his right hand.
